Essie in Absolutely Shore

Just recently, I found a super secret spot in Rockwell where they have an entire display of Essie nail polishes. They have a pretty solid selection of Essie polishes including the favorites like Absolutely Shore, Bikini So Teeny, Fiji and more.

I've been eyeing Absolutely Shore for ages and was on my never ending list of nail polishes to buy when I'm out of the country. (To those of you who don't know, there are no official distributors of Essie here in the Philippines so they're really hard to get!) Essie describes this color as a soft sea foam green, which I think pretty much captures this pastel shade perfectly. Makes me wanna go on a road trip to the beach! 

It took me three coats to achieve this look on my nails but you can definitely go on with just two. It has the standard long and narrow brush which is a bit of a pain, but I can live. As usual, I started off with Sally Hansen's Continuous Treatment Strength and finished off with Max Factor's Glossfinity, an amazing combo for a long lasting chip-free manicure.

    I love that color! I don't think I've seen that one in stores yet. It kind of reminds me of mint candy apple. :) I have that and fuji. I hate how sheer they can be and how many coats you have to put but they really are nice colors!

      I need Fiji too it's so gorgeous ♥ I hate that about Essie too though, beautiful packaging and colors but the formula could be better!

      I checked my nail polish box and I actually do have that color you pictured! haha. I couldn't get it to not look streaky and smooth like yours though :( their formula really does need help.

    Oooooh, that colour is gorgeous! And I agree, Essie's brushes are narror, and I have beef with that because the colour usually ends up streaky on my abnormally large nails/hands:(

    Personal favourite is 'Ballet Slippers'! Classic milky pink.

    This is such a pretty pale minty shade! It sounds good enough to be wearable with just two coats as pale shades usually require a build up :/
