Diet Diva is a five-day diet delivery service wherein they send you food everyday that are supposed to be under 1,200 calories. I came across their Instagram account and saw some of the meals they prepared for their clients, which looked pretty good for diet food. The portions looked just right that it seemed like I wouldn't get hungry or deprived, so I decided to give it a go.
The idea of a diet delivery service wasn't new to me as I knew some friends who tried different ones previously. I've always wanted to try something like this but the unreasonable price was what always held me back. Although when I heard about Diet Diva and their program of PHP 1,800 for five days I couldn't resist. I contacted them almost immediately and deposited a total of PHP 1,900, which included 100 pesos for delivery charge to Ortigas everyday for five days.
The people behind Diet Diva are really friendly and punctual. Being a college student, I requested my food for the day to be delivered by 8 am everyday, and they always made sure that it was at my doorstep by 7:30. I think the quality of the food is very reasonable for the price I paid which is a total of PHP 360 a day - three meals and a snack. Nowadays that amount of money can't buy you three meals in a restaurant, maybe not even one. The only problem I encountered with them was that on the third day, my wheat crackers had tiny holes in the packaging and was invaded with ants. Thankfully everything else was edible and they were very quick to apologize for what happened, they also added an extra fruit to my delivery the next day.
Unfortunately, the diet didn't really make me lose much weight, I lost a pound or two at the most which I quickly gained back the following weekend. I guess for someone with a normal BMI, 1200 calories a day isn't gonna cut it if I wanna shed some weight. My favorite day has to be the second, favorite meal the sardine fettuccine and the meal I couldn't care for the most would be the chicken and sweet potatoes.

ReplyDeleteWhat you're saying is completely true. I know that everybody must say the same thing, but I just think that you put it in a way that everyone can understand. I'm sure you'll reach so many people with what you've got to say.
ReplyDeleteYou'll won't burn fats if you will load up on carbs. Calorie counting is better if the food that contributes to those calories should be efficient to help you pack muscles and burn fats. Just saying.
