K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyebrow Liner in 02 Grayish Brown

Holy. Grail. I've tried countless products on my eyebrows including powders, pencils, crayons, mascaras and this is by far my favorite. I love the way it makes my eyebrows look, how it's versatile, how it suits the color of my brow hair perfectly, easy to use and of course the lasting power of this liner. Powders, pencils and crayons just don't do a good job on staying on my eyebrows, they always end up fading away. This liner doesn't budge at all and I don't have to worry about touching up. I don't know what I'd do without this and I don't think I'll find anything better. At least for a VERY long time until K-Palette decides to make a better updated version but I can't seem to find anything they'd wanna change about it, but until that day comes I'll keep repurchasing
This product comes in two shades, 01 (lighter brown version) and 02 (a dark brown suitable for women with dark hair like me). They also have a different version called the 2Way Eyebrow, which has the point tip on one end of the product, and a sponge tip applicator with powder on the other end. I prefer the point tip, since I don't like the way powdery eyebrows look because they look more unnatural to me. Which is why I decided to get the version with only the point tip since I assumed there will be more product of the liner.
Just like other liquid liners, it is important how you decide to store this. Storing it in an upright position may cause the color to become lighter. The best way to store this is by laying it on its side. It is important to also make sure the lid is securely closed when not being used, to prevent the point tip from drying up faster.
The soft point tip end is very thin (literally a strand of hair I'm not even kidding) making it possible to mimic a strand of brow hair. For days when I want a natural or no makeup look, I'll use a very light hand (imagine trying to only stroke your brow hair instead of the skin underneath) while holding the product by it's middle to apply this, only using the very tip of the liner and using feathery stroked to create hair-like looking strands. It may take a bit of practice to perfect but trust me it's worth learning! For days or nights when I want a bolder look, I do the same but with a heavier hand and going over it a few times.
The pigmentation is quite faded which makes using this perfect, because it manages to give a natural look while still having the option to build it up and make a bolder looking brow. The tip is so thin that it can even go on a lot thinner than the thinnest swatch seen above.

Cure Natural Aqua Gel

I've lately been trying to cut down on makeup spending and shifted to investing on skin care products instead. I believe that by having good skin, you'll have better looking makeup! I have also noticed that I've been gravitating towards Asian makeup and skincare brands these past few months. When my obsession with makeup started I was all about mainstream Western cosmetics but I've come to the realization that sometimes Asian brands just work better on Asian people.
The consistency of this Japanese gel exfoliator is quite runny and slippery. This product is also safe to use (90% water and no alcohol) on other parts of the body aside from the face - I use this on my neck, elbows and knees. Cure claims to have no alcohol in this product but for some reason it smells a bit like rubbing alcohol.
It instantly removes all the unwanted dead skin cells and leaves the skin feeling squeaky clean and more supple. I hardly ever say this about skin care products but this is definitely holy grail for me. It also works wonders on the dry flaky areas that I sometimes get on my forehead and around my nose that I wanna get rid of immediately before applying a base like foundation.
Despite the price (PHP 1,500) it has worked effectively on my skin and I would definitely repurchase this. I only use this twice a week and one pump is good enough for my entire face - so it's bound to last long.

Origins
Cure is a product of Japan. It has been selling well in the market for the past 7 years and was ranked the No. 1 best seller across Japan in 2005, 2006 and No. 2 in 2007. Cure has created a record-breaking, 1 bottle sold every 20 seconds. The remarkable result is affirmation that "Cure Works"

What is Cure?
Cure Natural Aqua Gel is a gentle and natural exfoliating gel that removes dead skin effectively without causing undue stress to the skin/ Unlike chemical peels which use strong acid, Cure is very gentle on the skin and only removes the unwanted dead skin. It does not dry or thin your skin which causes your skin to be vulnerable to sunlight.

Properties of Cure
Made of 90% revitalized hydrogen water and natural plant extracts of aloe vera, gingko and rosemary. Contains no preservatives, fragrance, artificial colorings and alcohol.

How to Use Cure
1. Wash your face with a cleanser and pat dry.
2. Pump a small amount of Cure to be applied on the desired area. Leave it on the skin for a few seconds for Cure to react with the dead skin cells.
3. Gently massage in a circular motion for 30 seconds to 1 minute. The gel will turn into milky liquid and white particles of dead skin cells can be seen as they are lifted off the skin.
4. Rinse well with water, then apply moisturizer.

News: Fairydrops in Manila

My all time favorite mascara in the whole wide world is the Fairydrops Platinum Water Proof Mascara (left). I bought these three babies in Hong Kong in Sasa, two for me and one for my tita, I bought two for myself because I wasn't sure when I'd get to go back so I wanted to have an extra one just in case. Better to be safe than sorry!

Well now there's no need to stock up on Fairydrop products whenever I'm in Hong Kong or in other countries where there's a Sephora. Because Fairydrops is now available in the Philippines, thanks to Beauty Bar!

If you haven't heard of Fairydrops then you're in for a real treat! It is a Japanese cosmetic brand that is famous for their amazing mascaras, both the formula and the wand is what sets them apart from other mascaras. I actually haven't tried any of their other product aside from their mascaras but I'm really looking forward on trying their BB cream.

Their Platinum mascaras (film and water proof type) are their bestsellers, as you can tell from the photo. The left most column where the white mascara tubes are, are supposed to be filled with the Platinum ones. They're temporarily out of stock in the Beauty Bar Rockwell branch.

Check out my review on the Fairydrops Platinum Mascara Water Proof Type here!

Comments / More Information:
- The platinum mascaras are probably available in other Beauty Bar Branches
- Their mascaras are around PHP 1,000 - the Platinum ones being the most expensive out of the bunch

Fairy Drops: Fairydrops Platinum Mascara Water Proof Type

Fairy Drops' (a Japanese make up brand) Fairydrops Platinum Mascara Water Proof Type (far left): HK$ 118

I'm a sucker for cute packaging!

Fairy Drops has always been known for their unique shaped mascara wand

See those eyelash looking things on the brush? That's the fiber in the mascara that makes your eyelashes appear longer

Sasa's Description:
FAIRY DROPS Platinum Mascara Water Proof Type contains 5 kinds of treatment essence to beautify and repair eyelashes. Fiber and Volume Up Wax make glossy, pine needle-shaped lashes with extra volume and length. Strong against humidity, it maintains the lashes’ curl all day long. As it is water-proof, sweat-proof and tear-proof, it is good for marine sports. You need not worry about mess and smudge.
US and Japan patented Fairy Drops Brush (Curve) catches even tiny lashes from their roots. Lashes are bitten between the balls and sharp triangular bunches are made. It pushes up making beautiful curls without clump.

Comments:
- Unfortunately, this isn’t available in the Philippines. I bought this on my trip to Hong Kong about a month ago in Sasa
