Revlon ColorStay Longwear Enamel in Pale Cashmere

Revlon ColorStay Longwear Enamel in Pale Cashmere PHP 320

I would describe this color as a pale baby pink and for some reason reminds me of strawberry yogurt. Since it is a very light color it took me about three coats to achieve this look, then finished off with a top coat.

I never really do my own nails that's why I don't have much in my nail polish collection, I prefer having them done because first, they're cheap anyway. A manicure here in the Philippines could go as low as around 120 pesos (around $3) and "change polish" would cost less than a hundred pesos (less than $2), depending on where you have them done of course. There are cheap nail spas nearby my house and school that I go to a lot, but sometimes I like treating myself to more expensive nail spas because they have high-end nail polish brands. My favorite 'more expensive' nail spas in the Metro are I Do Nails and Dashing Diva! Second is because I have a small nail polish collection so I don't have much colors to choose from and I'm the type of girl who switches nail polishes almost every week. Third, because I suck at doing my own manicures and lastly, I just enjoy the whole relaxing experience of getting a manicure.

I'm trying to change my ways though so recently I tried my luck on doing my own nails with this nail polish from Revlon and I don't think it's that bad... (Don't judge my manicure skills.) I'll keep practicing, promise!
As I said earlier, I get sick of my nail polish really quickly. Which is why it probably wouldn't be a great idea for me to splurge on a gel manicure! I'm really pleased with the lasting power of the Revlon ColorStay Longwear polishes. Polishes chip on me like crazy, within 2 to 3 days since I don't take the best care of them. It's been six days since I applied this and it's going strong! Now the problem was that I was getting sick of them. Not because I don't like the color, just because I'm weird like that. The solution? A matte top coat! Reminds of a macaron now. Do you use this trick too?

Revlon ColorStay Longwear Nail Enamel

I first tried the Revlon ColorStay Longwear Nail Enamel when I picked up a couple on
my last trip to Hong Kong. I got a pretty pastel shade in lavender (Provence) and baby pink (Pale Cashmere), both perfect for spring. I love the formulation of this! It's long wearing, yet inexpensive, and there are 30 beautiful shades to choose from. I went to PCX yesterday and couldn't help but grab three more to add to my collection. Each of these retail for 320 pesos or $60 HK.
Left to right: Pale Cashmere, Spanish Moss, Trade Winds, Rich Raspberry, Provence
Have you tried the Revlon ColorStay Longwear polishes? What's your favorite shade?
