   Sariwon has become synonymous with serving legendary Bulgogi since its beginnings in 1938. The restaurant was established by grandmother Mrs. Bun-Im Koo from the town of Sariwon in North Korea, who developed an extraordinary broth recipe for Korean traditional beef barbecue or Bulgogi. Made from 12 different kinds of fruits and vegetables and prepared in complete disregard of sugar, it was created

with love for her diabetic husband.

   Mrs. Koo opened her first restaurant with twenty seats serving friends and neighbors. More than seventy years and two generations later, Sariwon has grown into a powerful, multi-awarded presence in South Korea with its main branch having over 500 square meters and 350 seats. Awarded "Best Korean Restaurant" by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Sariwon's perennial popularity and devoted following are a tribute to Mrs. Koo revolutionizing the traditional art of Bulgogi. Aside from the best-selling bulgogi, Sariwon is also famed for its galbi or barbecued beef short ribs, with the New York Times proclaiming it as “the most tender and succulent in Seoul.”

   Finally coming to Manila, Filipinos now have the opportunity to enjoy Sariwon's delicious and authentic Bulgogi and Galbi, in honor of Mrs. Koo's lasting legacy.

I got two orders of their Kara-age Pop & Fries with Italian Cheese Seasoning PHP 95 each

- Toribox Cafe is located near Serenitea and Ristras, right beside Piandre
- Not only is the place nicer and bigger than their branch in Taft, but they also have a lot more choices on their menu
- Their Kara-age & Fries with Italian Cheese seasoning is my favorite! And their frozen iced teas are a must try
- For their Kara-age, you can have them with your choice of seasoning (like cheese, barbecue, sour cream, etc) or just plain (they also have gravy)
- I went through an hour of traffic (it was around 5 on a weekday) just to get two orders of karaage for take out. My craving was that bad!! The waitress even recognized me from their Taft branch

- "Brow and lash grooming salon" Aside from brows and lashes they also thread other areas like the upper lip, fingers, forehead, sideburns, etc
- Paying PHP 580 to thread your eyebrows may seem a little too much since there are other places where you can get them done at a much cheaper price, but keep in mind that this is the best place to get them done since they really specialize in this
- I've gotten my brows threaded in salons before and my skin around my brow area would get really irritated. This is because they don't clean it before and after threading. You basically sit down, get your eyebrows threaded, and you're done. I also observed that the process is more painful 
- In Browhaus, they have a reclinable chair where you can lay down comfortably. They'll ask for your opinion and how you like them done. Before they thread they'll clean your eyebrow area and after they'll clean it again and put a special cream. They'll also show you what it looks like in the mirror after. They also trim your brows if the hair is too long, which they don't do in salons
- Don't wet / put make up on your brows for the next 4 - 5 hours
- One of their services called Brow Resurrection can fix over plucked eyebrows, naturally short and thin eyebrows, naturally patchy eyebrows and more
- Check out their website for their list of services, prices, aftercare, before and after photos (you'll see the huge difference that good eyebrows and lashes can make, no kidding), and more
- I also like how they cover your legs up with a scarf if you're wearing a skirt or shorts
- If you have the Belle de Jour Lifestyle Card, make sure to present it to them for a discount
- I recommend Emily for eyebrow threading!

Yoga+ Ortigas

Right beside the air-con is a place where you can leave your shoes. Their studio is extremely clean so you don't have to worry about getting your feet dirty while walking around, even in the locker rooms

They have a water dispenser where you can get hot, warm, or cold water for free. Just make sure to bring your own water bottle

Their lockers are a bit small so avoid bringing unnecessary things

Locker keys are provided so you don't have to bring your own key, unlike in other yoga studios

Each shower stall contains a small area where you can change. There are about eight shower stalls

They also provide two free towels, one to lay on top of the mat and another for showering or to just wipe your sweat

- Everything that you need is basically there in the studio already. They provide yoga mats, towels, locker keys, and water. All you have to bring is yourself, your water bottle, and an extra set of clothes to change into afterwards

- In Sundar Bikram Yoga and Core Yoga, you have to either bring your own yoga mat or borrow one from them and pay

- I like how their studio only has three rows and that the mats are already in a fixed position, so you can still easily see yourself in the front mirror. While in Sundar Bikram Yoga where it goes up to 4 rows, I find it harder to concentrate when I'm left with the back row. In Sundar Bikram Yoga and Core Yoga, you can pick your own spot and place your mat wherever you want so sometimes the place gets too cramped

- Sundar Bikram Yoga and Core Yoga have exactly the same positions for their hot yoga. Yoga+'s hot yoga had more positions

- Yoga+ offers 6 different kids of yoga: Hot A, Hot B, Hot C, Flow, Power Hour, Led Ashtanga

- If you're a yoga first timer or a Yoga+ first timer, go thirty minutes earlier before the class so you can fill up the waiver form and so that the instructor can give you a quick orientation

- They have a promo for first timers: PHP 1000 for one week unlimited and PHP 3000 for one month unlimited

- You might be a little confused with their elevators because some of the elevators don't go all the way up to the 22nd floor. Just read the signs beside the elevators, then punch in 22 on the dial and it will tell you which elevator to use

- The 22nd floor is the Wellness Complex, aside from Yoga+ you'll find the 360 Fitness Club (gym), Polecats Manila (pole dancing), Yellow Halo (restaurant that offers 500-calories-or-less meals), a derma, and Spaholics (a nail & blow dry bar)

- After my first yoga class in Yoga+ Ortigas awhile ago, I can already honestly say that it's by far my favorite yoga studio
